Material handling has always been the strength of DEGA. Since its founding, 30 years ago, DEGA was involved in design, production and installation of equipment for material handling.
From the simple single-phase hopper loaders, to the whole centralized systems for feeding plant, our machines are worldwide well known.
We would like to highlight our latest solutions and achievements for materials handling in complicated situation:
For very dusty materials:
With our filter cleaning system "Battifiltro" it is possible to carry large quantities of materials dusty, eliminating almost completely the manual maintenance for cleaning filter.
For Super lightweight materials
With receivers "Free Dumping" is possible to feed the machines with super lightweight materials that would not fall from the cone of the standard receiver. With this kind of feeder we can handle materials with PSA to 0.2 Kg/Litre.
For hot materials with temperature over 150°C
We developed a particular plant suitable for transport, even for long distances, for extremely hot materials, without any contamination with ambient air, using special pipes and machinery that can withstand these constant temperatures without any suffering.
In dosing systems, we can confirm that DEGA is the unique producer in the world that has developed two separate dosing systems, depending on the final product requested and on used process.
For injection process, blow-moulding and extrusion of high thickness, we can propose a powerful and compact machine with high precision of dosing, even in a small percentage.
For extrusion process of blow-film or sheets with thin thickness, we have developed, with a leading manufacturer in this field, a dosing system that besides being extremely accurate, allows to obtain homogeneous mixtures thanks to the capable mixer, including those additives contained in small percentages. The great advantage of this system is that the product will be continuously uniform throughout the production. Besides the big quantity of homogenised material stocked in the mixer, helps to avoid, without interruption of production, any problem due to the failure in feeding of the raw material.
All our gravimetric systems are equipped with a powerful Software that allows the control of the production, the control of consumption of materials and also energy and labor costs in order to translate them to determine exactly the total cost of production.
